Tinned Food, Text books…and a Thule Roof Box
|
With the start of a new university year, many homes up and down the country will include two kinds of people: excitable 18 year olds preparing their university checklist and parents panicking over where to put it all in the car.
Thousands of school leavers are preparing themselves for university, planning exactly what to take with them to make their dorm feel like home. Unfortunately for many parents, packing the car with the contents of a wardrobe, books, television, stereo and the tins of ‘emergency’ food can lead to more than one journey down the motorway.

Parents can choose from Thule’s large range of roof boxes. The Thule Pacific is available in five sizes, from 330 to 460 litres. Alternatively, the spacious Thule Atlantis, which comes in four sizes, could provide an extra 340 to 650 litres of luggage space on the car.
The Atlantis fits easily to any roof-racked car with its easy to use ‘Power Grip’ claws, which close around roof bars of a maximum width of 80mm. The automatic self-centreing action allows the box to be secured safely and securely, using only one hand if necessary.

They are all tested to City Crash test standards at Thule’s own testing facility in Sweden and come with a five year guarantee – so parents will also be able to use the roof box to collect their budding doctors and lawyers back for the summer. |
