Thule Support Bristol’s Biggest Bike Ride Schools’ Challenge
|
Thule, the world’s largest manufacturer of car roof rack systems, roof boxes and accessories, are supporting Bristol’s Biggest Bike Ride Schools’ Challenge on Sunday June 21st.
Britain’s first cycling city will hold its 16th Biggest Bike Ride event to mark the end of Bike Week. Thule, who are also partnered with the national cycling celebration, will support the Schools’ Challenge by awarding the winning primary and secondary school teams and the school with the most participants with top of the range EuroClassic G5 cycle carriers.
Thule’s UK General Manager, Peter Barker commented: “Thule have supported Bike Week 2009 from its launch in January and are committed to supporting community events organised for this celebration of cycling. By providing these cycle carriers as prizes, we are offering school teams involved the chance to continue their enthusiasm for cycling and transport their equipment safely and securely to other competitions.”
Thule will also have a stand on Bristol’s Harbourside where advice on the best bike and leisure equipment transportation solutions will be available.
Every school that has five or more pupils cycling for it will be eligible to be entered into the prize draw. The draw will take place on Wednesday 1st July 2009. For more details and to register before the closing date of 15th June, visit www.bristol.gov.uk.
